PASTOR GREG WISMAR has been serving at Christ the King Lutheran Church for the past nineteen years. Previous to that, he was pastor to congregations in Massachusetts and Maine. A special interest of Pastor Wismar is worship and music. Currently he is serving as chairman of the national Commission on Worship for the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. A published author and editor of numerous works of literature and music, Pastor Wismar has supplied a number of hymn and prayer texts for th new Lutheran Service Book hymnal. Pastor Wismar enjoys all areas of parish life and takes special pride in being a fourteenth-generation Lutheran pastor. His side interests are in the areas of leading tours to various places in the world and finding time for racquetball and tennis. Pastor Wismar and his wife Priscilla are the parents of four children and ten grandchildren.
