Christ The King Lutheran Church is the church home for people residing in and around Newtown, Southbury, Bethel, Danbury, and Brookfield. It is affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
We at Christ The King Lutheran Church follow the mission Jesus has given us in His word:
"... Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe everything I have commanded to you." Matthew 28:19
"... As I have loved you, so you must love one another. All men will know that you are my disciples if you love one another." John 13:34-35
"... From Him (Christ) the whole body... Grows and builds itself up in love as each part does its work." Ephesians 4:16
To accomplish His mission, we dedicate ourselves to:
* Communicate the GOOD NEWS of Jesus' redemption so that all people can know God in a life-changing way.
* Nurture one another through Christian love within the fellowship of His people.
* Build up each and every member for active discipleship.
